THE JAMES BIRMINGHAM

Richmond House is to be transformed and upwardly extended with 150 new rented co-living homes (41,055K SF GIA) and will be known as ‘The James’.

Offering a total of 69,739K SF GIA, The James will new life into the site, providing a unique and well-balanced combination of en-suite studios (25-26 sqm) and social areas.

These will include workspaces, lounges, communal dining areas, and podcast, cinema and games rooms.

Residents will also benefit from an external ground-level back garden and various terraces for dining and keeping fit, along with a new communal two-storey roof extension.

The co-living units aim to embrace all demographics including post-graduates, young professionals, to downsizers by offering flexibility for shorter stays (e.g., 3-6 months) as well as longer stays (e.g., 1 year+).
